Philosophy- Technology and culture on the one hand - homeland defence on the other. Don't mess with us as we will make you pay, and we are mcuh more valuable as an ally.

From the looks of it, there is at least one probable warmonger team - BOH and probably a couple more similar teams, at least 3 teams are already implying imperial tendacies.
Babylon is looking interesting, possibly something to do with being cultured.....
Doesn't seem to be any teams adopting the Lego/builder theme and certainly no peacenik, SS type team....

Absolutely anything, theme-, goal-, philosophy- are all just suggestions for giving info about your team. Info- is for any information you want to give about your team.
Say for example you're going to have the team run like some kind of dictatorship or have each person control a city, or be mercenaries or have some kind of code to play by, pretty much anything that will differenciate your team or give it charachter.
If RP were to give info about their team, they could have gone on about how they roleplayed spain, or if team apolyton were to give info they could talk about how they have a system of consuls etc.


Realistically you don't have to give any info at all if you don't want to, other than a team name and civ.

Where do these descriptions appear? As in, how is it presented on the diplomacy screen? (I forget)

Um, I believe they appear all the time.

Initially they appear when the game creator chooses 'custom civ' - these are optional entries, or it will use the standard.

Later they appear every time you interact - it says "The ____ (noun) wish to speak to you" or whatever instead of "The Egyptians wish to speak to you". Or, "____ (adj.) Musketman" instead of "British Musketman"...

But you knew all that ...

On the F4 screen ...

"_Title_ _Leader_ of _Noun_ (plural!)"

I don't know what else you are asking by that ??
