I am going to vote for Snoopy's Dawn of Destruction - with a slight mod. This reminded me of a tune from the distant past. Some of you may recall the hippy protest song, Eve Of Destruction. I think Dylan sang it, along with others. P.F. Sloan wrote it.

      The chorus is:

      But you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
      You don't believe we're on
      The Eve of Destruction

So that's my vote for a game name. Eve of Destruction.

And here are the full lyrics. Sort of like promotional advertising for the name. (The one drawback was that this was going to be next sig line. Oh well - back to Shakespeare...)

      Eve Of Destruction

      (P.F. Sloan)
      The eastern world
      It is explodin'
      Violence flaring, bullets loading
      You're old enough to kill
      But not for votin'
      You don't believe in war
Then what's that gun you're totin'
When even the Jordan River has bodies floating
      But you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
      You don't believe we're on
      The Eve of Destruction
Don't you understand what I'm tryin' to say
Can't you feel the fear that I feel today
If the button i's pushed there's no running away
There'll be no one to save
With the world in a grave
Take a look around you boy
It's bound to scare you boy
      But you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
      You don't believe we're on
      The Eve of Destruction
      My blood's so mad
      Feels like coagulating
      And I'm just sitting here
      Contemplating
      I can't change the truth
      It has no regulation
      A handful of senators
      Won't pass legislation
      And marchers alone
      Can't bring integration
      When human respect
      Is disintegrating
      This whole damn world
      Is too frustrating
      But you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
      You don't believe we're on
      The Eve of Destruction
      Think of all the hate
      There is in Red China
      Then take a look around
      To Selma, Alabama
      You might leave here
      For four days in space
      But when you return
      It's the same bloody place
      The beating of the drums
      And the pride and discgrace
      You can bury yout dead
      But don't hleave a trace
      And hate your next-door-neighbor
But don't forget to say grace
      But you tell me
Over and over and over again my friend
      You don't believe we're on
      The Eve of Destruction
Yeah, you don't believe we're on
      The Eve of Destruction

Actually, I'm not sure he did.....it was a hit for a guy called Barry McGuire. But the ones that Dylan actually wrote - Gates of Eden, Chimes of Freedom, and Masters of War - are all better

And so my vote goes to Masters of War

As will yours when you read these lyrics that describe all of us in this game perfectly

Masters of War - Bob Dylan 1963

            Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build the big bombs
            You that hide behind walls
            You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks

            You that never done nothin'
            But build to destroy
            You play with my world
            Like it's your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
            When the fast bullets fly

            Like Judas of old
            You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
            You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
            That runs down my drain

            You fasten the triggers
            For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
            You hide in your mansion
            As young people's blood
            Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud

            You've thrown the worst fear
            That can ever be hurled
            Fear to bring children
            Into the world
            For threatening my baby
            Unborn and unnamed
            You ain't worth the blood
            That runs in your veins

            How much do I know
            To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
            You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
            Though I'm younger than you
            Even Jesus would never
            Forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question
            Is your money that good
            Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
            I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
            All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die
            And your death'll come soon
            I will follow your casket
            In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
            Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand o'er your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead

Aqualung... you know I'm going to back a Dylan-influenced name. Masters of War

Btw, got "Eve of Destruction" playing right now. Good song. "Masters of War" is up next.

Snoop - may I suggest from this thread that you extract say - the top 3 or 4 proposals. And then put those to a poll where everyone involved can vote.
