I'm holding what could be called a chocolate croissant : specific bread with chocolate stuffed in ; you can find it in any bakery in France - original version is pain au chocolat. The bag has others, as well as regular croissants.

Oh, I didn't realize it was a croissant. Maybe it's the lighting, but at first sight it looked like some kind of wooden object.

Sigh. You asked for it.
This is one of only two digital photos of me known to exist. It was taken for use on the University Website/Prospectus/escort agency pamphlet/any other publication. It is me at the Lower Hutt research facility where the university's labs are at present, and I am standing next to a SQUID magnetometer - a Superconducting Quantum Interference Device. This piece of equipment will be key to my PhD - I should ask someone how to use it one day.
My Goldberg t-shirt puffed out a little and makes me look extra buff, so it's not all bad.
