  • Reign of Meadishi I

    Hai,

With the posting of this thread and accompanied opening picture of the save the discussion may start on what to do during this reign.

An akward situation where science is very low and money even worse with 0 gpt. Polls might be up soon enough.

The cultural border grows next turn. As Dayimo Nunn proposed, finishing the granary and starting a settler is most likely to be the best option for now.

        Jan 1455 - Jul 1457

After some thinking, nothing came to mind that could be reasonably polled. Therefore, Meadishi had decided to move on as to keep the game going and make it more interesting soon enough.

        turn 10
        ENTER

        turn 11
daimyo renamed to Meadishi and moved 99
+1 gold by shifting WF to fur, now at +2 food and 4 to go

        turn 12
        granary finished
        started on settler
        Meadishi moved 66
        happiness at 10%

        turn 13
worker Paddy 96 onto bonus grass
        Meadishi 88 into Bull Wheat

        turn 14
switch WF to fur again for extra trade
Paddy strted roading. Wondering why Paddy had to mine the cow. Roading should have had priority as trade is our main concern.

        turn 15
        Meadishi + Padme 14
I apologise for this move. I realised too late that this could have been a poll (where to settle next). Resource, wheat and fish seemed to be a logical choice. Another settler seemd to be a logical choice as well. All in all it's been 5 turns and I believe that's the moment to have a successor installed.

              On mining the cow,
I felt that we needed to double the shield production of our cows from 1 to 2 to improve the speed of our granery and settler builds. That tile should always be worked due to being the only one producing more than 2 food under despotism. (3!)

Having it mined is not a bad idea, as we're having no water very near. However our problems were in cashflow and we're producing excess shields for the projects (accelerated production!). So I think priority towards roading might have benefitted us more. It's a bit of an akward game as such.
