Ok, I need some info guys. Its been a long time since I have played a conquest. An even longer time since I played a Semi-Diety level game and I have never play with AP. So I need some answers.

    1) Now we must be VERY sure about this, there are NO amphib units in this game?

I just want to be sure because we have island full of units to defend against a possible landing when they could be deployed so as to make it IMPOSSIBLE for a landing. I know that removing troops from a city might make it more probable to flip but it looks like we set culturally against everyone except the Greeks (Yes I know that its the macado whatevers, but who cares? They are targets. Their name does not matter.). However, I would like to know which cities island cities were ours to begin with (just in case).

    2) Why are our inner cities so well defended?

I can understand the fear of an invasion happening in our boot, but I still see several cities that have 3, 4+ units in them that are a) happy to be Polyromans already, and b) not in any immediate danger of being attacked.

    3) I see alot of very corrupt cities. Has anyone done any calulations about how courthouses might improve them? This is just a thought. We have so much money comming in that it might be irrelevent.

Anyway, I/m sure I can come up with some more questions, but i have to look more closely at the save latter today or tommarow (the wife and I are having our first ultrasound today, I I don't think that I'll get much done tonight. However, I do have off the next two nights....).

If you can think of anything that might be important that I should know, let me know.

On #1, if you have any doubts, load up the conquest in the editor. (Multiplayer version)

On #2, the cheap Garrison units are acting as police to reduce the use of the luxary silder and specialists. A few other units are there to discourage ampehous invasions of the boot and redirect them to Silicy.

On #3, The Demigod level + the multiplayer version of the conquest corruption setting is why we are so corrupt. We have the lowest corruption govt allowed an in addition have the FP. (Stolen Wines as I recall)

During my reign I rushed a lot of Court Houses within our boarders at that time so it is as free from corruption as possible.
(Basically every city not building a worker got a Barracks and every size 3+ city got a CH [except for extremely close to Rome that didn't need them] and every size 5+ city got a MP. )

Since then, I'm not sure how many court houses have been built in the newly conquered regions.

My hope is that after the Legions finally finish roading the dye that we would be able to quickly function with no luxary slider and no specalists [except in conquered cities of nations were fighting]. (Military Police + free Temple + Market Place + where needed the other happiness improvements)

Garrisons act as MP units, keeping citizens happy and our luxury slider as low as possible. Since all units are for free in Imperialism (!!!), we can afford all the MP we need.

The high difficulty level makes us so corrupt. The FP has been built and so have many Courthouses. Not much more you can do about it. You can treat all corrupt cities and all cities you built as forts - only there to have easier control of the land. No point trying to build anything in any but the biggest.
        Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

Our last stats revel we can build 3 Legionary IIIs every 2 turns in any 3 cities of our choice no matter how corrupt via cash rushing.

And so barracks have tended to be a very high priority in newly built and captured cities, no matter how small so we'd get rushed Vetran L IIIs and HCs.

Garrison units are actually cheap enough especaly with accel production to actually build normally in a highly corrupt city when were not in a hurry for it to get built. We probably have plenty of workers in our empire overall, athough they may need shuffeled around.

The other useful rush not mentioned are aquaducts on cities stuck at size 6 and to a lessor extent hospitals on cities stuck at size 12. Not much empty land left, also due to difficulty level and accel production.

On the military front, we'll like to continue punishing the Celts & Gauls.

Combined they have almost enough land for us to trigure a domination victory combined with what we already have.
(We only need 20% of the worlds land area & 50% of the worlds population)

I respectfully advise our new pompous Emperor that he would discover the answers to most of his questions if he reviewed the history of our development, rather than demanding information from the honourable and esteemed Senators of Rome

Bah! I true emperor bows to no one! I am the EMPEROR! This feeble body of "esteemed" senators may continue to meet but it will carry no authority!

                Bow before me!

(Don't worry guys. I'm just playing. I'll be looking closely at the save today and will be posting polls)
