Yup, nothing has been left to research in a long time.

      1. Restore the 1000 gold reserve. (Means 1 full turn of no rushing plus very limited rushes the second turn. And then at full rate.)

      2. Get back to 10% luxaries as soon as possible. By building Garrisons as police and rushing once we have the reserve back and in the mean time hiring taxmen.

      3. If you can get the Persians off Wines to Dye for long enough to have the local Legionaries road the Dye, that would be great.

      4. The Celtics are occupling a lot of land that should be ours! Particualarly in Gaul! Take it. Might make sense to go after the Celts in multiple areas, but ensure each group has enough units.

        1. Leave some offensive force in Spain to protext the cities from eventual Carthagian troops.

        2. Get New Alesia and Halein (Celts cities in Spain) and move the rest of our troops to Gaul Rome.

        3. Take more Celtic cities.

        4. move all troops from Wines To Dye For out of the city. There are no Persian troops and we can use the citizen to buil second city on that island. We have sufficiently units to occupy every sqare on the island and not allow more troops landings (there is no amphibious unit in this scenarion AFAIK). It is not the bravest strategy but we can beUse the legions to build road network.
Build some culture improvements in Wines To Dye For to not allow culture flip.

        5. Use the leader to build an army and fill all empty armies with units

One thing I would like to see is a peace treaty signed with the Carthaginians, we have no risk of annoying the Macedonians if we do this as they broke the alliance themselves during my term.

The alliances we have with Goths and Egypt against Carthage are much less significant, Egypt is too far away to be a problem and the Goths too weak.

I also think with a few rushes at Vesontio the city we have in Briton we could easily extend our holdings on that island.

              Obvious points:
              • Restore the gold reserve.
              • Sell things to Egypt.
              • Kick the Celts in the... I'm sure you know where.

As to Carthage, I say bananas. We either break alliances, or have to leave more units south, than otherwise needed. Both options are bad in a way.

Make peace with Carthage, and lead our armies to the barbarian Celts.
