Which Conquests Scenario should we play?

after we choose the conquest we will look at which civ in that scenario

feel free to start laying your case

Voted for Rise of Rome. Never played it out, so it would be interesting. Furthermore, Rome was actually ruled by a kind of democracy, so it would be very fitting for this kind of play. And the Fall of Rome was too boring, as you don't get to play the falling empire.

I'd suggest playing a scenario that plays better as SP than MP. Rise of Rome, Napoleonic Europe, and Mesopotamia are decent-to-good MP scenarios, and Fall of Rome and Discovery would probably be too (never tried those). WWII-Pacific and Sengoku might be better as SP.

Of the two, I'd prefer Sengoku, as you actually get to build other things than just units. But I found it very easy, at least starting at the west or north end of Japan - too much space to REX into . So, perhaps with a start in the middle...

Rise of Rome or the Shogun.

I'm thinking if RoR wins, mod it to make that minor civ in the NE playable by humans (Scayteans?) and play on Regent.

On Shogun, I'm thinking maybe one of the civs that are on minor landmasses. (As I recall, five) and play on Demigod or Deity.
