The most equal distribution is the first one, because the difference between the highest income and the lowest is the least in the first distribution.

The secondmost equal distribution is the third distribution because the difference between the higest income and lowest income is the bigger than in the first distribution, but smaller than in the second distribution, and because the other incomes are much more equal than in the first distribution.

The second distribution is plainly unequal: there is the biggest difference between the highest and lowest income, and when the case of OC is left out it is still the most unequal distribution.

    This is an objective observation.

Aren't all these prices pretty much crap until we decide exactly where we're selling our goods?

For example, you did not account for your food in this city's numbers, which if sold here would de-value the food in this city from the shown numbers.

So when, exactly, do we have to declare our desired points of sale? It's not going to impact anyone's decisions but you for a while, but it would be nice to know in advance if you are going to saturate a market with your 3 food.

And if I understand it right, wouldn't it pay to wait until everyone else had decided, and then do your own math to decide which is best? Perhaps when we script it into PHP, we should make it so people's sale destination is unknown until after all sales take place, so that waiting is not a better strategy than holding.

I too suggest GhengisFarb to become our council elder, and I support his plans with our worker, as well as his rules of good-behaviour among the lords of X.

"X" is an excellent name, we should keep it

Actually, we could script it to adjust, or to handle different trade markets ( Feudality to X, versus Feudality to Geen) and allow a player to choose the best market at the point of the trade in a fluctuating market (the forum script would be real-time trading, during each trading 'window' of 72 hours or whatever) Players would be able to watch the market change and choose a good time for their specific trade, or at least a decent time.

I should have put this in the script developer thread...

True, but that's where the game comes into play. The citizens determine either 1)how much of the city's money is allocated to each good type (what everyone appears to be doing) or 2)they set a price per each good sold (say we should pay $1.20 for each food).

Under 1, once the amounts are set and the trading begins the final paid prices will most likely be off based on some people NOT selling their products (either not making the trade thread before it closes or willingly not selling their product), so those prices we list in the excel sheets are simply projected prices if everyone sells all their product.

Under 2, you have set the price so there is no suprise. If someone doesn't sell all their product then their is money left over that would stay in the city's treasury. You know what your price is going to be but you miss out on getting every dollar available due to the set price.

Personally, I prefer 1, as if some people don't sell product the others make MORE money.

NOTE: I posted current leading options in a thread for potential instructions. If some other option takes the lead I will change the instructions in the thread.

Changed my mind. After much number crunching it apears we can build the Granary SOONER by building the Warrior first then the Granary. Weird but true.

If the majority disapproves I will change that order also, though.

I vote "Equal Split" but think the averaging method is the best option. I support the idea of a Granary first and think X is a fine name for our city.

Perhaps cities that are connected by roads, should have a shared market. Combine their funds and such.

                          Voting:

I think the Av% is fine, though I like the Equal Split model as well.

Ghengis Farb will make a fine town Elder for the time being.

                          City name- X

                          ok.

I'll vote for Equal split for now.

The City of X sounds good to me

                            And all hail Elder Farb!
