  • What do I do?

With the foundation of our second and third cities, the Feudal thingy has started.

Now.... what part in all of this have I? I am currently Dictator (a title volunteered for without opposition), and in consultation with whoever shows up in chat and whoever posts on the matters, play the game as I have seen fit. I think I've done OK, but we need to figure something out.

The Feudal thing is fine, but how much will this impact on what the gameplay is? After all, we do need someone to play the game itself, and there has been a little discussion of having someone for a sort of Science Minister position. What other positions are needed, and how do we decide them?

As it is it seems (to me) that with tile ownership, the game moves more from a Dictatorship to a Democracy one again, where the turnplayer just follows orders.

If this post is confused, that shows my state of understanding - how will things differ when we get tile ownerships sorted, and should we pause play until that is done?
    Consul.

Back to the ROOTS of addiction. My first missed poll!

Yeah pretty much I would think you would just play the turn, but you would follow the orders and build queus from the Town Elders.

Should the Warrior and Worker be assigned to Futility or should they be considered under the control of the Despot?

Does the 'state' own tiles too?

In the old $mini-game, the state owned all tiles until they were bought in auction by one of the players. Not sure who owns tiles immediately under this system.

And I am going to refer to you as King MWIA. That is a wonderful experience, I can tell you, to be called King.

Is there something more that you wish, your majesty?

I don't think we discovered Monarchy yet. So he's still a despot.

Hmmm, after we discover Code of Laws can we try MWIA for warcrimes?

Only if MWIA makes laws that he breaks... Despot makes the laws right? He probably also is the one making the decision in the case too. I doubt you'd get a conviction.

We have 3 units, and 3 cities... divide them up between the cities. Gives each something to order around at the start.

Accept for who in those cities gets them? And which city gets which unit?

I would go utilitarian and say DC gets the Worker by it, Serfs gets the Worker by it, and Fuedality gets the Warrior as it already has so many tiles improved.

okay, that's logical, but which citizens get to 'own' them.

maybe we could take turns leasing them, for a test drive

They would be owned by the city itself, until such time as they would be auctioned off by the city. At least that's my understanding of the game.
