*"Winning is still the goal, and we cannot win if we lose (gawd, that was brilliant - you can quote me on that if you want. And con - I don't want to see that in your sig."- Beta
I usually favor the , even more so after a few nips
*"Winning is still the goal, and we cannot win if we lose (gawd, that was brilliant - you can quote me on that if you want. And con - I don't want to see that in your sig."- Beta
Actually if we are going to do Rise of Rome, we should do Rome. Just figure out a way to handicap ourselves.
make it a diety game for sure.
And turn the AI agressiveness way up.
But whatever we do make sure the is satisfied
*"Winning is still the goal, and we cannot win if we lose (gawd, that was brilliant - you can quote me on that if you want. And con - I don't want to see that in your sig."- Beta
ahh but if we make it diety we could then be blowing away the chance for a good quick game
/me pours a new round of drinks
the way I see it is that the harder the challenge, then the more we get caught up with the micro - micro management. this in turn leads to new players getting lost in all the motion
possibly if we were to play the game at more of a players level, then we could get more people involved, keep them interested
I see this forum as a great training base for the other Democracy game Forums
and on that, there are a few games going down at the moment, and in many of them it is the same players doing their thing, which is not bad, just can be a bit daunting for new people
adding to this, it could be a lot of fun for everyone to whip the ai's butt from one side of the map to the other
come on, even the most strident builder likes a good war with armies and units marching off to victorious battles
then you must admit, that we have a stack of scenario's to get through as well
