Thanks for the poll, NM. I have not voted just yet, as although I prefer a straight DG, elements of a Feudal game could be incorporated provided I didn't need to know them to participate.Comment

The thing is, I just don't see a DemoGame doing that well. With all the InterTeam DemoGames and having to make trades and negotiations with other humans the vanilla DemoGame has lost a lot of its appeal.
By making it Feudal based it adds a more "individual investment" element that will hopefully spark more interest, more participation, more excitement, and more fun. It differs from PBEMs because we are all on the same team and can play at any pace we set for ourselves without having to wait for another team to play their save.
I just don't see an standard non-Feudal game doing well.Comment
