  • How do we plan our defense?

We are at war. With many foreign countries.

Persia is now at peace with us (we don't know for how long), as is Egypt. But Rome, Spain, Korea, Japan, France, Celts, America, and Greece all want us dead. And they'll probably manage to disembark troops at home, at some point.

Since we are dealing with vastly superior technology, I suggest we wait with our berzerkers (our only chance to scratch the enemies) where they are most likely to come.

Question is: where are they most likely to come? I say the Eastern coast of our country is a no-brainer. I also think they'll prefer our core lands, what with them being directly at Spanish range, and being more interesting to plunder than our southern island anyway.

This is why I suggest we bring all our troops near Busiris back to Birka's mountain range, so that they can immediately begin reinforce our East coast without risk of being sunk by roman vessels. I mean, the ships disembark them on the closest mountain, they don't make the long hike all the way to Birka (we couldn't waste more time than going to Birka from Busiris by ship)
With a berzerker ready to attack the lone Barbarian S-SW of Busiris, it's not like we need so much force there.

I also suggest we send all our ships in the Raiding Party Strait to the nearest harbour. Roman ironclads are nearby, and our galleys / caravels stand no chance against them. I suggest
    1. the Big Free Galley goes to Spanish are Greedy.
    2. Ormen Lange galley goes to Raiding base
    3. Tordenskjold and Old Number Seven go to Fields of Gold.

Hmm... looks like we don't really have enough troops to block off the coastline (50+ needed just for the South Isle). And we also don't know if anyone has (or will use) Marines yet.

Sounds like whatever we can do is worth a shot.

The Big Free Galley is in range of Roman Ironclads. Unless it goes to a city or moves back, we can kiss it bye bye at the end of turn: the Romans don't want to acknowledge our envoy yet.
