    Odin Rune Tavern

    Welcome to the Odin Rune Tavern, this is a place to sit back, relax, have your favorite drink, and talk with your fellow warriors about the goings on in the game. Not like how the government is doing things talk with the bartender or go over to the VP and throw your drink in his face its all good, the whole point is having fun while till talking on the game. So I'll start.


    Nimitz and his Secret Service guards walk into the stately and time worn hall, Nimitz survays the room seeing how empty it is and shakes his wondering how it came to this point it use to be one of the busyest places in all New asguard, people coming and going, but that had all changed and so thinking on the old days Nimitz goes, sits down at the bar and orders an Ale with a side of banana chips which the bartender leaves to go get. As Nimitz sits there waiting for his stuff and thinking on the past he sees......

      Field Marshall Van Goth enters the room and looks around, he has been on many a long and weary crusade for the viking nation, with him are his most loyal body guards.. Rasputin the Brave and the Warrior Princess Tayah. The Field marshall secretly thinks that rasputin and tayah are lovers but he cnt prove anything but he keeps amindful eye on them, especially as Rasputins wife is Goths sister!!

      One day he hopes to catch them and get rasputin court martialled, but so far they have proved t obe to clever.

      He idles up to the bar and orders a round on the house for all.

      The weariness of war was getting to him in his old age. Soon he hoped to retire, but who would take his charges then.....

          ahh another day in Paradise..

          sad news keeps coming in the western isles as refuges head home

            The field Marshall felt very old as he rembered the battles of the west, no he couldnt go back, it was time to retire and drink here in this hall.......

              The VP sits at the grand bar drinking his ale which had finally been gotten to him and sees a paper remembering how long its been since he had a new one he picks it up to read. But as he starts to read he notices the the date, the paper is over a month old! Disugsted by this he calls the bartender over to ask why it has not been replaced and is promptily told that that was the lastest news paper and that the paper hadn't been coming out for some strange reason. As Nimitz pondered what to do about this a communicay with news on the west was brought to him by....................

                yep, there was a paper put out last week. Printed at our new facilities on the western Isle...

                looks like we will need a nother facility now

                    Nimitz opens the letter while taking a sip of his drink slow scanning it his eye reach the point were it told of the persian attack and how they rolled over our cities at which point he swallowed hard. He seeing the description of what hit the cities he knew exactly what weapon it was for he had seen them used to great effect before when the old apolyton had them. Having read through it all he knew it was over and all there was left to do was to order another ale and drink it in commemoration of what might of been, which he started to do when entered................................

                      The Old Feild Marshall Closed his eyes and let the alcohol dim all his memories of that horrid war. the screaming of his men as they were crushed under wheeled machine shtat his people knew nothing of. The fear in the citizens eyes when they saw viking soldiers killed all round them, no this was not what he dreamt of when he was a boy. He always thought vikings would rule the world, but something went wrong, he knew not what, he was not a polititician he was buta soldier all his life and now he dreamt of Valhalla and big Viking women......

                        Rasputin The Brave knew what had caused the devastation in the west, he knew what was going to happen to all vikings everywhere , he knew, he the information had been passed down to him through the ages from his ancestors, Major Rasputin had been locked up on a remote isle and whilst there he met many other exiled soldeirs and politicians, yes the cause of the failure of the viking race was the people who dealt with any different thoughts by exiling the opposition....

                        Yes he knew the man to blame was sitting drinking ale only 10 feet away. but Rasputin could do nothing becasue no weopons were allowed in the Tavern.......

                          The Viking enters the Tavern looking very disturbed, “Hi all, I just got away from the Western Island in my small boat. It was a scary time those last hours over there, big machines came rolling down the hills firing guns 10 times the size of the guns of a musketeer, and they could break anything. We ran as fast as we could to the boats grabbing all of value we could see on our way. I think I need a cold beer!”

                            More blood soaked refugees arrived in the Tavern and Raz the braveheart bought drinks for all. It was the least he could do for the survivors of such great catastrophy .....
