Resignation from SMC Position
Good evening/morning/afternoon, wherever you may be.
It pains me to say this, but I must resign from the office of SMC at this time.
As you undoubtedly have noticed, I am having less and less time to spend here on Apolyton. (I haven't posted at all in the last ten days, and have hardly had time to even look at the most recent events.) This is due to increased demands for my time from school and from the family. Meanwhile, the workload for the SMC office is increasing simultaneously. While I would love to stay on as SMC, RL is presenting me with little choice but to step down.
I would be more than happy to stay on as a deputy SMC to whoever takes over the office, but I simply am unable to maintain a full position here. It's probably the best for you all too; considering Vikingland's situation, we need a SMC who can be here much more often than I am.
I will leave it up to Paddy to select a replacement for the interim period between now and the election. I personally recommend Rasputin for the job, for he is around quite often and is quite knowledgeable about the game.
I'll still be around here as much as I can, and hopefully when summer break comes I can get back into full-time government.
