should we declare war to Greece (prior turnchat 37)

We have bought the chemistry from Greece (more information) and we have to give them 30 gold every 10 years in the next 200 years. This is a total of 600 gold. We have supplied them with the first 30 already.
The question is should we give them the money or declare war like we did a century ago? I guess this will ruin our reputation even more. Currently noone wants to trade techs for gpt with us.
