I want Hot Pink!!! Or maybe Banana Yellow, in honor of the Great Banana...
Seriously, as long as we get a color that is noticable enough, that will be o.k. But I'll take Black.

I prefer red for one fact. I am color blind in a rare way. I cannot see shades of similar color. Red stands out in forests the best for me. The 'colorblind help' only assists with cities, and the color rings will only work if it is of a different color than the forest or background (ie, definately NOT green). I can probably handle black fine, though, for this first term. It's choice may preclude my absense from any official position other than FAM later if I find it difficult to see units, though, after this first term when I will know locations of units simply because I will be the one ordering my relevent units around. Later, having to search for larger numbers of them may not be possible.
Yes. I have had Zulu sneak up on me before since I have trouble immediately picking them out from some backgrounds. I have also had 2 civs next to each other that I cannot tell the difference between their colors. The Silver, and one of the lighter blues are two that are difficult for me. Sure wish that colorblind help also added titles under the units...
I am also trying out terrain graphic mods to help me with this currently. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sn00py's seems best right now, the detail of the terrain makes circles stand out a bit better even if they are of similar color, a circle is out of place.
Been sneak attacked, and have attacked the wrong civ when a similar color had a RoP with a nation and I did not have the auto warning on for attacking...
Mostly just a problem when I am loading a sav or for some reason am unable to see the units move between turns to take notes of where they all are.

We need to restart an 8-player GoW PBEM and all choose colors so we are invisible to UnOrthO.
So this means there will be a run-off between black and blue soon?
I want to get started with this
I cannot wait to see what evil map BFM and Togas gave us
