I will be running again for FAM, if nobody minds.

I will not be seeking a re-nomination for the post of SMC. RL has a strong hand in this matter, not to mention the upcoming war that the U.S. (and myself to some extent) are going to be involved in, alas, I will not have the time to participate as much anymore.

I am pleased, however, that during my tenure as SMC I was able to defend our borders against the Japanese aggressors, and lead our forces into complete control of what was formerly the German Empire. The conquest of Germany by my predecessor and myself will remain longstanding as one of the great moments of Apolytonia's history. And for this, I am proud.

As usual, we need to drag someone, perhaps kicking and screaming, into the DM position, so I promise to seek a RA position again next term. Anyone else want to make a similiar pledge?

I am willing to run for DM, but I need very active RA's with much responsibility-feeling as I think I won't have much time for it. I'm quite busy in RL, but always willing to serve the nation.

Seriously though.....in a time of peace like the one we are fast approaching, I suppose that a peacenic like Thud would do a great job.

....and what would occur should we be invaded by another rogue nation such as Japan? Would he stifle the desires of our people to inflict damage and punish those who dare oppose us? Would our armed forces be reduced merely to a weakened force equivalent to the pathetic Persians? Would he surrender in the face of battle?

I have BEEN to the front! I have seen the war with my own eyes! Think of what would become of us, should we be led by an anti-war, anti-military, and anti-nationalist executive!
