  • Too Many laws?

After reading the last two amendments, I am beginning to wonder if we are over legislating. It seems that some of thes bills are trying to fix something the isnt broken. In the end that just leads to more confusion. I agree that Great Leader use should be decided better than what occurred with Seti, but other than that, some of this stuff is just confusing things...

I felt the same way a month or so ago, and led a pretty mean campaign against the NewCon, although since then I regret it.

Many of these new "laws" just clear up a wording in the NewCon (according to the ones who are proposing it). Not much has really changed.

I think it "seems" as though things are more complicated and confused, but I don't think they are. If someone doesn't like a suggested amendment then vote "no". If you don't mind, vote yes. If you don't care, don't vote or go abstain. It's pretty simple.

Actually, I believe the NewCon made things more simplified for everyone, instead of the broad, general terms of the OldCon (although I believe both documents are worthy of following). The NewCon made things more....hmm, how do you say it, cluttered perhaps, but in the end it's still the same.

Togas convinced me of that when I led my Anti-NewCon campaign, and I'm glad he did. Among others, (adaMada, too). I like the NewCon and it's freedom more and more each day....especially when I need to use it to propose a Bill....

(although you won't be seeing any Bill posting from me anymore, for a month at least until I'm a Senator again)

      It's STILL simple and easy.

Want a law changed? Post a bill that says Yes, No, or Abstain and make sure it's unbiased.

Same goes for a Bill.....how hard can it be?

Just because there are numerous Bill's at one time doesn't make the NewCon HARDER to work with, just simply more bills at one time. All it takes is actually reading a Bill and decide yes or no or abstain. Super easy....
