And the truth isn't what you want to see,

Perhaps we should let the Greeks sack Brennen. Both that city location and adjoining tiles looks so marginal that it's probably not worth pushing back cities in the distance from FP queue.
Instead we should take the current German capital. Note that we can't move it to adjoin with the inland sea because razing that city would cause those tiles to become English and Greek.

The more I look at the save, the more and more I feel like pushing all my (well, OUR) forces to the mountains and to Nuremberg. In terms of ending the war, this will be the crucial and last, final blow against Bismarck, and we seem to be in a better position to do it than the English or Greeks are.
Regarding Bremen, if the English don't capture it, or the Greeks, and it holds out, by the time we take Nuremberg we'll basically have it surrounded, and can than just pincer our way in there.
Or just wait a few turns until the MPP's expire.
We have alot of options available to us right now.
(remember what panag said, "... They may have some resources somewhere... uranium... don't give the city to other species... showld we... ", or something like that - I couldn't find the post).
Well, I definetely am going to do everything possible to take both, that's for sure.
The Greeks and English won't be able to take any German cities without heavy casualties (Bremen itself is protected by a large wall).
What amazes me constantly is just the awesome destructive power of 30 Artillery! I never really used artillery to much effect in many of my previous SP games. Using them now, is like a breath of fresh air. While Leipzig (in the battle then) had it's share of casualties (about 3 or 4 Cavalry died), Heidelberg only dealt us 2 losses, the rest of the Cavalry were able to retreat. But thanks to that Artillery stack, it put our troops in a MOST favorable position.
We don't need to keep Bremen to guard against Uranium; just station a few troops in and adejenent to where Bremen is to keep the AI from plopping a city down there until Nuremburg and Neo Leipzing cultural boundaries expand.
