North of Zululand (or a long way west of the Greek island) would be my guess. It's the only reasonable place if you look at the map.

An update for all of those who are following via the forum: we've made craploads of money and we intend to buy furs and gems during 760 AD in exchange for techs. Yay us!!

Wow - operation "Broke Civs" working - we got a massive trade with India, cleaning both Indai and Zululand out of L and Lpt for one tech each. :b
Still no Japan though.
Our glorious naval force is embarking on a mission to find Japan. In the mean time, MWIA laments as several cities stop celebrating 'We Love the President Day'. However, that is soon to change since we're buying two luxuries this turn, it seems.
Update: Rome has found Japan. They can see their cultural borders but they can't see any land yet, nor do they have contacts.
Also, printing press in two turns.

I keep missing turnchats. Oh well. Who thinks we should conquer the Zulu at some point?
Did I just say that? I must be turning into a Hawk...
I think a little imperial adventure would be fun.

Why exactly is Rome stupid?
Rome had a boat right next to Japan... and then didn't establish contact . We're dispatching one of ours ASAP, but we were counting on Rome making contact so we could trade for it (not ideal but it's the best we thought we could get), and that's really sorta weird, especially after the AI sent a ship on a beeline to the Japanese island and then proceeded to pass by. I guess we'll find out more as the turns progress and we continue to buy the Roman world map.
