    Term V Public Works thread.

    Please post ideas or requests for public works improvements in this thread.

    All plumbing requests should call 1-800-GET A PLUNGER as to not clog up this thread.

    ANNOUNCEMENT: All reasonable requests will be considered, but only EMERGENCY needs are currently being met until we have acquired more Egyptian workers.

    How to describe a specific tile:
    DIRECTONAL LEGEND FOR TILE LOCATIONS
    For Example, if the city was Timeline, the Green tile would be "Timeline wnw", and the blue tile would be "Timeline S".

    Well I need the workers near Port rouge/Jerusalem to create a road over the mountains sw of those cities to speed the assault toward armiens and to allow rapid resupply and relief to Hole in the Wall after we take Amiens. I do consider this an emergency. Additionally the workers can road the SP's after we take lyons/armiens, but these are not so urgent. If you like these workers could be under the SMC control so that I can use them best to help our war cause. This was done during the early stage of the Persian campaign with great success.

      I have a Worker in the Q for Jerusalem. It will build in 4 but I'd like to throughput rush it at 2 for 16 Lytons. It would be ready on turn 4 (if I get the Cathedral Rushed on Turn 0, add 1 turn if not). When it comes off the Production Line, could you have it Irrigate then Road the Grassland next to the river (tile #20). Then have it irrigate the other Grassland. I was going to ask about cutting a road into the mountains (to help facilitate the movement of War Materials), but Aggie beat me to it. After either they finish cutting the roads or the other worker is finished Irrigating, could you have them mine one of the mountains.

      I have other cities working on Workers, but this is the First that I'm asking for a Throughput rush. I might have more later, as I'm about 10% done with my orders.

        City by city Request:
        [I'll be editing as I come across things]

        Napoleton:
        Road & Irrigate both of the cleared spots (#6 & #17).
        Clear the Jungle just to the east (#3), then move to the Gold Mountain (#11) and Mine then road it.
        Mine & Road the one hill in tile #9.


        Also, If we have a chance to purchace Slaves this turnchat, could you have them Road & Mine the last tile in Apolyton, then work up the coast and do the other unfinished tiles in Tessagrad (mine) & Banana HQ (irrigate).

        Still looking........

          Suggestions only, all to be over-ridden by E_T if he requests otherwise:

          Macross has maxed at 12 pop until we get hospitals, but it has a lot of irrigated tiles and few mines. A worker building at least one mine (perhaps on the wine square) would be much appreciated

          HII also has a shielded grassland tile with no improvements.

            Have another Frenchie enroute in addition to the 3 already there. If we get more workers in trades will send them after Apolyton is finished.

            Will do. Any workers aquired through trades will finish improvements around Apolyton before joining other workers in the labor gangs.

                    Infrastructure Requests for 720AD

                    Ubergorsk: Clear & Irrigate all of the Jungle Tiles that are west to south of the city. Road & Mine the Hills & Mountains. Just Road the cleared Tile ESE of the city( I don't know if I want Irrigation or mine there) and Clear & Mine the Tile NNE of the city.

                    Geofront: Connect up the last Dye, we might need it for trade with the lost Civ's. Clear & Irrigate both Dye tiles. Road & Mine the mountains. Clear & Irrigate the tiles NW, W, SW & NE of the city. If possible, I'd like to have a couple of the Jungle tiles cleared & Irrigated, then a mountain then back and forth. This will allow me to balance growth & Sheild production over time.

                    Ghengistown: Irrigate the Three cleared tiles that are south of the city. Then Mine & Road (in that order if possible because of river trade) all of the Hills that or north of the city (5 in total). Clear, Irrigat and road 2 of the Jungle tiles that are on the SE side of the city. I'll add more as time goes by for this city.

                    Antioch: Mine the Iron. Irrigate the Grassland that is NW of the city. Irrigate & Road the Plains & Grassland that is East of the city. Clear & Irrigate & Road the River Jungle tiles. Mine & Road the Hills that are SE2. PLEASE do not cut any forrest for now, I'm saving them, just road them for easy Access. I'll add more as time goes by for this city.

                    Macross City: If it's not Irrigated, Mine. Any other Jungle that is cleared, please mine.

                    More to come later.

                    We should have some workers coming off of builds soon, I'll get you a list for the times & Cities later.

                      I'm going to irrigate all of the grassland tiles as G-town needs to grow quickly (it's one of best sites for building wonders) then mine all of the hills.

                      I'm not going to cut any forest until we have railroads because at that point a mined grassland matches or exceeds a forest in everything.

                        Some More Requests

                        Uber Island: Please Irrigate on the marked tiles and Mine the rest. The two Forrests that are marked C&I, I'd like them cut & Irrigated, but at a later date. THis takes care of 5 cities at once. Could you also mine the last tile in ADC when I get the Worker Generated from there (after the Def Mil Unit)?

                        This supersedes my previous Request for Uber.

                          I can tell you right now the ONLY irrigation Neon is going to get is what is necessary to get water to AGC.

                          It is a placeholder city whose sole purpose was to keep the AI from settling there. No one ever intended it to be useful. Ever other city on Uber has prescedence over it.

                            Truthfully, All of our cities are useful and I consider them to be vital parts of our nation. Neon is in close Proximity to the current Palace and thereby has a fairly low rate of Corrution/Waste (It's closer than Ubergorsk!). Even though it has little land to work with now, It can still be a major contributor to our economy and future Science. To keep this city from expanding properly, would be almost be criminal!

                            And as for AGC, the only tile that needs to be Improved is the one Plains tile. With the Cow, Whale & Harbor, it has a sufficient rate of growth. What it still need is the added sheilds from mining that last Plains tile. After we get RR & maybe even electricity, we can explore changing some of the tiles from Mines to Irrigation. But until then, It will do the job that I require for my production.
