There is a stack of smelly Romans near our vineyards. They bring wagons, dogs, rats and crossword puzzles. Looks like they're going to settle somewhere.

If we're unlucky, they will settle what I call Wine Corner - the square SW and NW of our wine resources.

If they do, their borders will probably swallow up our Wines. Agh!

We have one chance to prevent this. Send out a unit from Macross (from HereItIs won't work because of the river) to occupy the road at Wine Corner, until the Romans have decided to go someplace else. These are our Wines!!

Sending the Pikeman from Macross as indicated above should be implemented in the current turn. There is virtually no risk since it is unlikely that the Legionary would attack since it is escorting a settler. Macross will still have a Swordsman in attendance.

I guess we can move a swordsman from Macross City to the spot NE of where the Romans are.
In any case, we'll most likely culture-flip them pretty quickly since their city will be very far from their capital and since Macross will have a Cathedral and Here It Is will have a library, not to mention the Romans are admirers of our culture, and will soon be in awe of it.

I have considered this request and have decided NOT to move any troops there. This was not easy decision but I think it is best to keep all forces on french front in cities. I can't go into more detail not because I don't have some but because it is late amd I am tired.

there is a danger of some ex french cities fliping and there wasn't much chance of the AI building on wine corner as they don't usually build 2 squares from another city.
