The office of City Planer is one of the most important in Apolytonia. The minister and his deputies must decide the fate of every city in our land and ultimately the fate of our Empire.

Like all great plans mine is simple. I will carry on the work prior City Planers and promote growth and culture in our cities. I will rutinely ask the body politic for advice and continue the practice of regions and deputies, largely keeping those which have already such a great job. Our current situation requires our cities main focus to be the growth of our military with the minimal cultural growth require to promote happieness and growth in our cities. As a Hawk party memeber I think our military in this war time takes precedent.

There is another issue which has slowly crept into our cities and threatens our future. As we speak nearly one in five or twenty percent of our populace is not of the same glorious Apolytionian cultural hetitage as you and me. They are made up of those inferior poeples crushed beneth the boots of our mighty armies. While we have conquered their cities and driven out their armies, they still remain, infesting our cities and making the lives of all Apolytonians more dangerous. They will revolt, burn our cities,and tear down our temples at the drop of a hat. We have already seen their destructive power in cities like Port Rouge, where there were reports of murderous French men stealing and eating Apolytonian babies, the golden future of our land. As long as they exist they will never admit their defeats to our armies. They cannot be trusted to act as normal prductive Apolytonians. I am here to say enough is enough. We have had it with these infoerior people.

I have a plan! We must get rid of these poeple anyway possible. For the outer cities of Greater-Apolytonian I propose we use forced assimilation, first proposed by our Vice-President, where we build settlers in the infested cities, grabing up the foreigners and then joining the city as propuctive and happy Apolytonians. Another more drastict measure in recantly aquired cities would be to use tactical feeding programs.

I ask you to vote for me and my Apolytonian Racial Elitist programs to ensure a pure Apolytonian future. A future where our children can use the land we conquered without the fear of foreigners and their barbaric ways. Don't let a foreigner eat your BABY! VOTE DUDDHA!

PS: My stances on foreigners are in no way the policy of the Hawk party and are only the offical policy of the Apolytonian Racial Elitist citizen's group.

Hi. As incumbant, I think my record speaks for itself. Some of the highlights durring my administration:

Regions. I initially proposed the idea of regions, then when elected I experimented with how they are used to "test the waters". Currently, I have placed for a vote by the people how the results of the experiment have worked to impliment it as a formal part of our government.

Coordination between various parts of the government. Often a problem in the system we have, I have tried and for the most part succeded in coordinating the efforts of this office with those of the other branches of our government.

I promote a racial mix of our citizens, unlike my opponent Duddha and his Apolytonian Racial Elitists (ARE). Diversity is a good thing. Red heads, blonds and brunets. Yes, diversity is a good thing. Be alarmed at the reactionary fear mongering of the ARE. They wish to force content and happily productive people out of our cities because of the colour of their hair. Nea say I. These people are loyal citizens like any other. Why should we delay construction of Libraries and cathedrals to allie some unfounded fears. Why should we keep our military forces from being resupplied to send these people packing. WE SHOULD NOT. I repeat, WE SHOULD NOT. I stand firmly opposed to ARE, and to their radical unfounded fears.

Duddha - over what timescale do you hope to assimilate these foreigners with building settlers? There are many in our cities, and we have a lot of more important things to build to deal with the war and necessary period of development afterwards.

And is not this method of shepherding non-citizens together and sending them off as Settlers merely a reclassification? Do we not just give them an Apolytonian passport and pack them off? We aren't actually changing their nature, just what they are called. I am not complaining, but how does this further ARE's objectives?

Any settler you create for this program will be a waste of 30 shields! For just 20 shields you could build a temple that will do the same job over time as well as help offsetting unhappiness.
Anyway, the only real danger from foreign nationals is that they become unhappy faster. This is no serious concern as you present it, since we can offset that with just a 10% increase of the entertainment slider, which will cost us a few gpt (compared to the 30 shields or 120 gold that a new settler costs).

I believe that if you thought this plan through you'd have realized how wrong it is, and how many shields you'd waste if you implemented it. Anyway, I know I am not going to vote for you the next elections. I like Godking much better.

Good point. I have just reviewed the sav. and agree with you for now that temple building is cheaper and more useful. The reason is that none of our cities currentlly have more than 2 foreigners. Cities with one we can only hope for the best, being that it is too hard to get rid of 1 foreign pop. The only city that I may think about forced assimulation is Port Rouge where there are two Froggies. Man, I keep on coming back to Port Rouge. Burn it to the ground! Once we start capturing large enemy cities my suggestions may become more useful. Shiber, you can congradulate yourself on being the first person to attack my plans without mentioning "multiculturalism", which I'm sure our medieval populous, under the rule of King MrWhereItsAt, is in favor of.

Do not listen to this lunatic. We all know we are the chosen people of the banana. If we do not stem this invasion of foreigners now it will not be long before we forget our past a start worshiping some inferior foreign god.
