The second site is a site which I think is good for the time being, this site is there so it can be updated but at the moment it is the best we can see.

I don't feel warm and fuzzy about it cause it has a "plains" in it. (I don't like plains, no particular reason, I guess something happend to me in my childhood........)

if the city is near the sea , we can put some forests on it , ....

this way we shall have more shields , and the sea shall provide the food , ....

Hm... interesting point. It might not be a bad idea to eventually drop some forests on one of the plain tiles (assuming that's a terraformation that we're allowed to make) once we have the right tech (am I right in saying we don't have it yet?)

Plains is what we have got, it is good that it isn't the jungle which we are used to!! The second site will probably include grassland, which is good!!

All I'm saying is lets hold off on commiting to a city 2 site until we've scouted that area a bit more.

Yeah I know that we should scout the area, it is just a planned site, I don't want people to think that i am doing nothing, especially at this time (near elections!! ).

Hey, I have an idea. Let's build a city in the middle of all those plains, we can call it "The Ghetto" and Duddha can send all the populace he wants to "cleanse" to live there.

Can I ask a simple question, why is it that evryone always goes for the Minister of Imperial expansion, and why is it that high profile people like Sir Ralph and GengisFarb, at the moment there are three people runing and there is only one person running for President and Vice president. Can someone please explain this?

The MIE position is the least time-consuming and involves minimal responsibility, while being a president or a VP involves much more responsibility and the hassle of actually having to play the horrid game.

(Besides, I have the 1.29 patch and couldn't play the game anyway, anyone else ever notice that ROPs are eternal? They NEVER expire, they only cease when one of the two parties declares war on the other.

The other position I was interested in, Ministry of Public Works, looks to be non-existent soon.)

You know you could just download the 1.29 and 1.21 patches, run the 1.29 patch (it'll uninstall) and then run the 1.21 patch? It'll make switching between the two versions quick and painless.

start from one drive with one version , on the other the other one , .....
