Now that we have captured French towns we should look into ways to get as much as out of them as possible and to solve unhappiness problems.
First of all, each town must be garrisoned by at least two units to serve as military police. Paris can be garrisoned by two swordsmen (the rest of the swordsmen will advance northwards and give cover), whereas Orleans should be guarded by three garrisons (1 spearman, 1 wounded archer and another archer) if we intend to move the rest the Chartres (see my "What to do with the archers stack" thread). However if the rest of the archers move to Marseilles then Orleans can be garrisoned by just two units (since the biggest threat is from Marseilles).
Any other suggestions?
