  • Adam Smith Foundation: Benefits of WLT*D?

I'd like the Adam Smith Foundation to study the benefits of rasing the luxury rate and getting as many cities as possible in our empire into WLT*D (We love the ____ day). Though we probably won't make as much money that way, we the other bonuses might be worth it (if I remember correctly, WLT*D also affects production, science and etc) considering that we are very weak economically and this might be an easy way to give ourselves an economic boost (especially after the French war).

Does anyone have the numbers as to how much it would help?

I am afraid that this is not a viable plan at the moment, as we won't be able to get our cities to size 6 without haveing at least 1 person who is unhappy. Wait until Cathedrals or Colosseums are built.

Ok. That's basically exactly what I wanted to hear -- that it's been considered, there's a good reason it's not being done, and the idea might be worth something later. (Well, I'd rather hear that it's a brilliant idea which will forever put me in the annals of C3DG history, but lacking that... )
