Dale is different from Dimrill's Dale. REad the Pologue to LoTR:
Iron hills is completely separate from dale. On the LoTR map, the Iron Hills are pretty far east of Erebor....the dwarf-hoards of the Kings under the Mountain, beneath Erebor [the lonely mountain] in Dale...
Unfortunately, AFAIK, there is no elvish name for Dale.Comment
