Sorry to raise a dead issue if someone else has already seen this, but has anyone seen that the greeks have begun exploring the island off the coast of Pharsolas? They've even founded a city, Thessalonica.
While it looks like a small, civless island, we can't see much on the map we have right now. There is a possibility that the Greeks will soon be rich as contact traders.
If this does happen, should we wait till the contacts have been bartered around are fairly cheap, or should we try to be among the first purchasers and sell them to everyone else?
I'm not an expert on contact devaluation, but I think we should wait. We don't have the GL or anything else that benefits from contacts, and, in my experience, the price plummets to 15-20 gold once enough civs can trade it to you.
