Yes, Mr. panag, can be done, but you barely can see something. The maps posted in this thread are just thumbnails. The forum rules limit the size of the attachments.
One more choice: One file, 1.8 MB, 300dpi, 30.16cmX19.73cm (this one is really detailed).
Or the initial options, 1 file 26cmX16.76cm, 300 dpi, 1.2 MB.
The problem is all are too big to post; I can only send it to someone by email. If I make the map smaller to allow post here, it will be useless; all relevant information will be lost, even in two pieces.
To interested people, specify your choice and give me an email address.

Compession wouldn't do much, either. A .zip compression doesn't decrease the size anywhere near enough. Neither does an .rar compression (though the .rar is smaller).

Maybe you could contact MarkG about posting it in the Civ3 section?

hey , no need to say "mr" , panag is just a form of "ai" , ...

no the Q is ; why not split the map you have in two parts , this way you could post 2 large parts of the map , each piece on 600 X 600 , the largest you can post with in the forums

since there shall be two pieces of the map , one right , and one left , you keep a large amount of detail and all the people can see it , and you dont have to mail , ....

and that map could even be usefull to post somewhere in a thread "maps only" that is always in the first page of the demo game threads and it would be great to be used as a reference by the government , ...

Hmm... the map is 3500x2300, so if my calculations are right, you would need more than 20 600x600 maps to cover the same surface...

I reduced the image resolution to 1800x1177, the size was 480k so it is about the max we can post here.

The image attached is a part of the 1800x1177 image, to show you the resolution. You can't even read the cities names !
