Palace location

I can remember some talk of a palace jump a while back but don't know how people feel about it now. So just a hypothetical question - if you could/had to move the palace right now where would you move it to.

My preferences (in order) would be
1 Gaia - IMO the most centralized city considering our new cities in France/US and our old core cities. Although bad land it is close to Munich which I'd like to be ours.

2 BHQ - Already an ok city and closer to our current core and developed cities.

3 Del monte - Good land. Although far from current cities a good chance of flipping those cities that the Greeks cheekily built near our land.

4 Timeline City - Bad jungle but near to the soon to be ours French cities.

5 Paris - What do you mean its not ours yet?

Now theres a question for the DIA.

Actually, with Uber Isle Apolyton could be at the center of our empire.

We still don't know in what direction it stretches to (if at all).

True. Still, it would be wise to wait and see before moving our Capitol. Anyway, we need our Capitol in Apolyton now because of Termina and Tassagrad.

Keep it where it is at for now. Uber-Isle may be usefull and close. Wait until post war with france to look at this harder.

Depending on the size of Uberisle and whether or not its inhabited, we might want to keep Apolyton as our capital. Since it looks like our empire will include Apolytonia, America, and France we might want our Forbidden Palace mabee a little Northwest of Timeline (hard to say though, since we don't know the post-war borders will look like yet).

I was just wondering where people would like to move the capital if we had to right now, (hypothetically of course.)

I suppose this talk of uberisle means you would "hypothetically" move the capital to Termina or tassguard.

I think we should work on the FP, in Del Monte preferably :
Del Monte has a bearable corruption, which means FP will be built in less than 200 turns. It also has good land, and will have a big population / production.
Plus, we're very likely to finish off the Americans, and Boston / Chicago are both farther than Del Monte.
Lastly, it's very possible our future wars will be waged against the Germans, and DM would be in a good position to administrate conquered German territory.

IMNSHO, we should wait to build the FP. Unlike the Palace, we can't move it, and we want to build it where it will help us optimize production across the continent.

I agree, let's see how things develop before committing to Palace relocation.
