This poll hereby asks the citizens of Apolytonia if they will allow the propper ministers (SMC, FAM) the power to declare war the instant they deem the most oportune, against the United States of America.

The Question: Can we declare war on America?

This poll is to ensure that, if in a turnchat, should the appropiate ministers feel we should declare war on the spot, they will be able to democratically and instantly, rather than ending the turnchat for a poll. The goal is to ensure no turnchats in the immediate future are ended prematurely to decide on a declaration of war

One thing is for sure, if we don't win, a LOT of people will leave because there's no point any more (or at least they think that). I may very well be one of them.

Remember the only way we are off poorly is our land, all of which can be turned into grassland. In the case of a military flop, i'd suggest making peace ASAP, then quickly building all the cities bunched into our area we can, terraforming as much as possible. We have the room and the method, just not the will (yet).

Well the way I see it here's the situation. If we do nothing but try to settle we will lose. If we attack we might lose, but we have the odds in our favor. So I say attack, all that can happen is we lose quicker than we would have anyway. Perhaps our luck will be different than trip's in his recent attack he spoke of. Maybe we'll win with no loses.(I know it is unlikely, actually ~9%, but still it could happen) But I do know the odds of winning the game as a whole are nonexistant if we do nothing. Also this attack will raise interest in a game that seems to be losing people. Additionally we need to increase the pace of the game, people want to talk about civ, not rules and regulations. We do this to kill time between events, but I'd rather be invading or fighting rather than writing. So ninot if you want to do turnchats fri/sat go for it, heck if you want to do turnthreads everyday to get things moving, do it. If you suceed in speeding this game up I can just about guarantee you reelection. Sorry about the extra stuff about game speed, but I figured if I post it here, people will see it.

Yes, if we lose this war we'll still probably lose if we prepare a little longer. Nothing much more can be done, we have a bad starting position. If we are going to lose, let's get it over with.
