too bad we have a Prime Directive. I'd so love to give our Apolytonian Friends the knowlege of how to build great mechanical contraptions which run around going 40-60mph with huge metal tubes which shoot fire and destroy any enemy, spearman or otherwise. :-(

Would be fun to watch you Crush all your foes.

      Greetings Phoenaticans,

How exactly do you pronounce the name of your advanced civilization?

Might I also inquire what level of difficulty you were engaged in? And how many citizens you have? And what year you are in? It seems you have been building a spaceship... does that mean you are trying to flee your planet? Or are you dominant in your world?

Sorry for all the questions, but our primitive nation has just recently discovered mapmaking and geography is a big fad amongst the people now.

Wait... if your spaceship isn't complete, how did you get here?
Maybe they're planeswalkers, able to step between worlds the way you cross a river on stepping stones. That's how I got here.

Phoenatica sounds much like 'fanatica'. (Well, we are on Civ Fanatics. ) I here tell we are on monarch level. How many citizens? We only had 28 vote in our last presidential election and that is our official census for official purposes. We have had over a hundred citizens register since we began. It is 1680 AD by our reckoning. We haven't actually started a spaceship yet but now that SETI has discovered life out there I hope our people will begin the project in earnest. Right now they are distracted beating up Iroquois and China. It is quite embarrassing actually. We are dominant on our planet but there are those of us who wish to leave. We dream of a world without laws and standards. One where polls are well thought out and presented in a clear, logical, timely and unbiased way.

I would like to invite you to my house, at the first and greatest plantation in Apolyton. My banana plantation at Banana HQ turns out the finest bananas in all of Apolytonia. With the new road that has been built, travel should be much easier. I hope you will enjoy my hospitatily, and I would like to offer you some funds to build your embassy in Banana HQ, or at least place a consulate. Unfortunately, I will be leaving in a few weeks, for I am going on a voyage of exploration with our most vaunted traveller, jdjdjd.

I have begun to grow quite fond of bananas.

I think I had about 70 or 80 by myself.
We have about 250 or so members now, a month and a half in. I suppose Apolytonia is better at breeding than you guys.
