Yep. Turnchats take too long already and trades don't really need to be done during them-as long as they have been voted on already.

      Aggie, why an "unofficial poll"?

We did everything according to the polling standards, as long as this poll is up for at least 3 days.

I don't see any reason why trading shouldn't be allowed between turns, provided that it has the proper approval.

Captain, to be honest I wasn't thinking when I made it unofficial. Though the main purpose was to prove support for the idea so nobody would complain later. In that regard I am very happy so far.

oh, ok, well, so far so good anyways...
it's unanimous so far, that's probably as strong as it'll get
so it's effectively official since I expect if we*had* to repoll to make it official, it'd for sure pass, so no need to reinvent the wheel.

I voted no because of this line

no other minister needs a consensus to make a decision like this.

Its the FAM's decision for this kinda thing.. thats what the people elected him for

its not directly the peoples decision, so I vote no.

I would say more than trades, as long as they're clearly announced.

Ninot, I used the words general concensus, because the words are vague and make varying interpretations possible. Though I would be highly upset and probably not vote for a FAM again if he went against the general will of the people. I agree that the FAM doesn't have to consult on everything, but if the issue is controversial he should consult the people, if only though a forum or chat.

Yes, we don't need to slow down turnchats.

                          Thankyou for the explanation

I agree that any minister should follow the reasonable wills of the poeple, and I agree its in the FAM's best interests to consult, even if it is threw a question in a chat room. I just hated the idea of putting a minister under the gun because he didnt make a poll on trading.. lets say Philosophy.
