Should we not include a worker as part of the queues for Plan Eagle or whichever warplan has been chosen? I agree with building a road towards NY, at the same time an extra worker to continue developing our lands, perhaps build the road faster and or keep a secure amount of laborers is crucial. We may also at some point want to build roads towards France, to trade reources, luxuries with them, though this is in the future.

I don't think the Egyptians can build horsemen. IIRC, in the latest patch it was taken out of the upgrade path for WCs.

Oh. I don't think I've tried it, I just thought I read that when 1.21 came out.

Horsemen cost 30 shields, though, as opposed to 20 for an Archer or War Chariot. Can we really afford to use such an expensive unit? Time is not on our side.

I'm against using War Chariots. For one thing, we might not be able to use them in our next war; also, this is way too early for a GA IMO. Go with Archers, or, if it turns out to be a possibility through some miracle, Horsemen.

True. But wait'll round two with our hapless foe, once we've ramped up production on his former territory.

Agreed. I say once the pressures of waging our first war are over, we build a few and store them in a city, so that we can trigger our GA later, in the medieval age.

I could not make it yesterday, sorry.

I think we should keep this plan till after our archer rush. We would need at least 15 turns with both workers to build the road. We need our workers now to make our cities productive. After this, BananaHQ should be connected (part 1 of the road). Hopefully, our raid yields some American slaves, that can start to build part 2 from the other side. That would be the way out for our War Chariots

But I would not consider to change the current plans.

Agreed. The current plans stay. The "Chariot Road" as it has been called is definately an afterthought for the war with amercia.

after all, our archer attacks will leave us with Washington and maybe New York, at the very least, and a road network there is essential anyway. Depending on the geography of the areas around it, Chariots may be useful... maybe not. The option is there.
