I'd rather have (IND) for independent in place of just the (I). I know in US politics the Indies just have an "I," but the Republicans and the Democrats just have one letter two. Since this is also a two party system with the UFC and the DIA, Indies should have IND for continuity.

Also, IND was the letter abbreviation that TV guides give independent stations.

It isn't whining. It is a simple suggestion.

Wait a minute-- why is there an imperial expansion position? Isn't that a political stance? Isn't imperial expansion accomplished by people wanting to expand in office?
I wasn't around at the construction, but I'd just say that looks very much like "minister of gun ownership" or "minister of abortion" (tee hee).

              Epistax :
There is a consensus we don't want to play a One City Challenge (OCC), thus the empire will expand, as it has expanded (foundation of Banana HQ and Termina). The minister of Imperial Expansion is simply in charge of placing new cities.

              Trip :
Please correct the candidates for historian. Tassadar and History Guy don't compete with each other anymore, but will work together. Please fix this in this thread, to make sure no errors will be made hen you'll create the election poll. Thx

Oh ok I was thinking of a different meaning of imperial I suppose. One City Challenge? Yow. When I think imperial, that includes military action, and that's where the confusion comes from.

This is EmperorMagnus' announcement for his candidacy of Minister of Science.

"Unlike war, which must be carefully planned, I believe science is a here and now sort of thing. If elected minister of science, I will focus on what we need at the moment. Work on a skyscraper can not begin if the foundation is unfinished. If we focus on the present rather than the future, we will be able to make better use of our advances later down the road. If elected, I favor a beeline to the republic in order to boost our science and economy, followed by military research spree. Decimate America to the point of extinction, then offer peace in exchange for every tech they have plus some gtp"
                          Duddha: I will return...
Arnelos: ... and the civilizied world shudders ...
"I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or Duder. His Dudeness. Or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing..."

its strange we only have one candidate (so far) for such an important position.

                              Military code.....
                              Mandatory: abbr.
                              Not tolerated: compl.

Ok, I'm not even from that continent. But I've heard the old reporter in 60 Min. complaining his longues empty, while turning wrinkled tomato....
Well, I really don't like abbreviations nor complaining.
