I believe that this flag is the most adequate one. Reasons:
1) This sun-like apperance represents the light that freedom gives us, and democracy is actually the government system that allow us to have more.
2) The colors are widely used by a lot of flags in the world, Rusia, European Union, USA, Japan...
3) MarkG, check this flag...

They also call the Union Jack, Englands flag too busy. That flag happens to be a combination of the flags of England/Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. Every single thing on that flag represents a part of the UK. Its a stupid site...Comment

Maybe its not the flag they are voting against, but the countries. Perhaps resentment against the United States and the United Kingdom?
