We don't know there is Iron in those mountains. While it is likely, I have seen mountain ranges in a number of my games where there was no iron in them.
I agree we need to know more about the terrain of the other 2 civs before we go with a blanket Case X plan. We need to find out how much military they have (within the confines of the limited Advisor's info and what we can see). The power score will be a clue as well since part of that score is based on military might.

) in the face about the unknowns. The simple fact is, the plan as outlined does not need to change until we are ready to build the road to our target, regardless of who that is. Therefore, case pink should remain while we gather intelligence. Any decision about the target should be deferred until a later date.
