Le Ballet Windsor, c'est pour moi!!

    (honorary... obviously)
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

Duas uncias in puncta mortalis est.

I just had to include this:

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
      I AM.CHRISTIAN

I think as members of this club we should each include in our signature this code (with {}s replaced with []s, or course):
          {b}{color=red}I AM.{/color}{color=blue}C{/color}{color=red}A{/color}{color=blue}N{/color}{color=red}A{/color}{color=blue}D{/color}{color=red}I{/color}{color=blue}A{/color}{color=red}N{/color}{/b}

the end result being, of course, I AM.CANADIAN

BTW, does it need all of those {/color}s?
          I AM.CHRISTIAN

Some one once told me that after the American civil war (not independance war) Britain paid the US an excessive amount of money to stop then conquering canada. Is this true? If so how much did Britain pay for Canada and all that maple syrup?

                        I haven't heard that story.

In history class, I was taught that after the US civil war, Canada was in a frenzy to make itself a propper country (instead of colonies of britain) specifically to ward off the threat of a US invasion. Thats all I was ever taught on the issue.

It is just me, or do we have as many Honorary Canadians as we do real Canadians?

i consider myself a civil war buff, but ive never heard this. i know that britain had an army in canada during the civil war that was ready to invade the US. england was on the confederate side for the cotton, but they never actually fired a shot.
