  • The Imperialist-3A2C3 Party

Due to the party rush, I'd like to bring up my party for prospective citizens.

Unlike other parties, our goal is not to destroy the world, destroy the political system, or destroy our opponents, but simply to elevate our civlization. We strive to grow and expand, through warfare when feasible, and through peace when profitable. We support high science, a large military and a strong infrastructure.

My official stance on the jungle issue is to explore our surroundings, and find a more appropriate location to build cities. As time passes, a large worker force can be constructed to cut down the jungle, unearthing the fertile land underneath. For now, we support expanding beyond the jungle to more fertile areas, where we can expand from easier, while consolidating our current posessions, and whittling away at the massive Notylopa Jungle.

Current membership in the Imperialist Party is 15:

    Trip
    MrWhereItsAt
    Vlad Antlerkov
    atawa
    HazieDaVampire
    Togas
    SwitchMoO
    Kingof the Apes
    History Guy
    LordImpact
    Robber Baron
    The Dark Lord
    Micaelus
    mgekelly
    aleion

If you care less about politics, and more about strengthening Apolytonia, then join the Imperialists!

This party is a merger of the Imperialists, who have a more or less "common-sense" agenda (in reference to the game; they couldn't care less about how the FORUM works), and the 3A2C3 (aka AAACC3), who are against a strong written constitution.

I would like to be counted amongst the Imperialists.

This party's goals and ideals seem to fit nicely with my beliefs. I hope to be of some service to the party in the future.

As founder/leader of the Imperialists, I call on all Imperialists to vote Yea to ratify our Constitution.

If the people feel it is incomplete then they may vote against it. We've already gone nearly a week without a set of official rules, which is just asking for trouble.

We can always amend it even if it is accepted.....but I don't know about those polling standards you added in there. Did the people approve that? I forgot...

I always felt it should be kept seperate.

Hey- what is the deal with Space05us leaving anyway? And who will replace him and when?

~ 72% of the people who voted said to include it. So I added it.

Space05us has been officially removed. I have not yet determined who will replace him, I'll have to see who is up for the position and why they should be chosen.

Well, I would be interested, as you already know. My deputy minister stands ready to replace my spot at the IE Affairs also.

It is obvious it should be a public election/chioce though. Maybe among myself and some other contestants.

Frankly, I wish we hadn't called it a Constitution so that it would be easy for all members of our party to support it. I looked it over and it's just a set of rules to play this game by, definitions, and some necessary procedures written out. I think it can be accept without the feeling that we're empowering all the citizenry with a bill or rights or the like and some more layers of needless bureucracy.

                        I'll back it.

Hmm, after consideration I believe I wish to join this party. No, that doesn't meant I'm leaving the Thinker's Guild. The Guild is not a political party, so I can be a part of both. I just like what this party is about.

Would you please remove me from your list as "official sympathizer"? Thanks. While I still support your ideals, I don't see that the current government does what it stands for. This concerns not only your party, but the DIA as well, which has also my sympathy. Finally, the hawks and nationalists also have a point, even though I consider both parties to be paper tigers.

As notyoueither said, balance is the key. The empire needs all, imperial expansion at the cost of its neighbors, industrialization, science and culture.

                              Well put Ralph

DIA is not so much established by its expansion policies (or lack thereof), but by attempting to be adaptable, giving the non-government people of our Democracy a voice, and respecting dissenting views from ours and accommodating everyone as much as possible.

This is not easy but something I have not seen any other group attempt to do.
