Palace Jumping II

This is a followup poll to the other poll entitled 'Palace Jumping'. This poll will be invalid if that poll results in a 'no' majority, but must be run simultaneously due to time constraints. It will run for 48 hours as well, validating it just in time for the turnchat.

The proposals are
1. Build no city improvements in the capital
2. Build units in the capital, especially settlers/workers
3. Don't improve the terrain around the capital too much yet
4. Don't road through the jungle yet

The proposals are further fleshed out here.

Concerning 4:

We will have a city in the jungle in two turns, so some work will be done there(mainly cleaning, but eventually roading too).

If you mean a long road to the territory outside the jungle, then I agree.

concerning 3:

Terrain developement shouldnt be limited just cos the capital wont be there. Any jump wont happen for a while and improvements will mean more workers/settlers can be pumped out.

I think that we know too little of our world to make such decisions. Anyways, I feel that we are going to need to pump workers out of our capital city to clear the rainforest. We should palace jump if the other side of Notylopa is much better then our side.

no...i dont want to palalce jump until we have at least 5-6 cities, and we shouldnt disband apolyton, just build a palace from scratch. apolyton itself is in a good city location, it's just on the edge of the island (i hope not, hopefully continent) and surrounded by jungle.

We should leave our capitol where it is, and definately not cripple it. Apolyton has a Fish and a Whale.

I wholeheartedly agree, the proposals sound like what i'd do anyway (except the for building a temple eventually) in thie situation.

To future voters :
I'd like to repeat this thread doesn't ask the same questions as the Palace Jumping poll. There, Punkbass asks if we should palace jump eventually. To approve or disapprove the palace jumping, you should vote there.

Here the votes have no influence over the palace jumping, but on the strategies Punkbass will use if the palace jumping is accepted (in the other poll). Thus, opposing the palace jumping is no reason to vote "no" in this poll, and agreeing the palace jumping is no reason to vote "yes" here either.
