Yeah, I noticed you are having some fun with your profile, Trip.
I'm going to rub some stakes on my face and pour beer on my chest while I listen Guns'nRoses welcome to the jungle and watch porno. Lesbian porno.

Civman should get this post. He's been a good Minister at the Civ2 Demo Game.

I'm waiting for one of them to show up and explain in one sentence why I should vote for them.

johncmcleod got my vote. He, after all, puts the importance to support military much higher and therefor stands for a stronger empire than his competitors.

                Go johncmcleod!

I voted civman. He will do a really good job and is very active in the forums.

Is there another thread where they say how they'll work?

I'm holding my vote until I get info.

And I'm in the lead! My computer is acting strange and I'm reading hundreds of threads...my promises should appear in both newspapers soon, and I'll copy my promises from the campaign thread as soon as i reorganize myself

My promises: (copied and slightly edited from the campaign thread)
I believe in giving 10% to luxuries as soon as our cities start getting to size 9 or 10 or we go republic, but no more unless we absolutely need more. Science should be up as much as possible almost all of the time, but if we can gain 30 gold per turn at the cost of only 2 turns for science I say do it! I will ALWAYS check to see if our tech could take the same amount of time at a lower rate, so our treasury stays filled! My polls will be detailed, explaining the consequences of all reasonable choices and why we might choose those choices. Although I wil try to convince others that my preferences are the best, I will ALWAYS obey the will of the people expressed in the polls.

                            I also point out that:
                            1. atawa has not been very active
                            2. johncmcleod does not seem to understnad what the minister of finance is. He seems to think it has overall control over the economy of something, whichis far from the true. The only power they officially have so far is setting the science/lux rates, though they will probably gain a few more powers eventually.
                            3. jdjdjd has been a bit active and shown some of his ideas (i forget what they are!), but not active enough to be able to be sure that he will stay.
