  • Group these 4 ministerial posts?

The following four positions can be summed up with Internal Affairs/Domestic Advisor (or pick a name):

    City Planner
    Imperial Expansion
    Public Works Minister
    Environmental Minister

    Reason:
All the above deal with the managing cities and infrastructure (terrain tiles). These can be best done if there is a single position for it.

I feel that the Environmental Minister can be eliminated. The others I can live with, if only to have greater input from the other ministers, the President's 'cabinet', per se.

I kind of like the idea of the Cityplanner having to work along with the Public Works Minister to get things done right . These two really need to remain seperate as they are both large responsibilities.

Imperial Expansion Minister and City Planner could probably be merged into one, but either way would work well.

Environment Minister: Wasn't that one a joke?

No Comment @ environmental advisor (but it has ben voted against)

Also the other poll has told that >50 % want these ministers, why shoul we combine them? Whats the meaning of having so many polls on everything (other then that the max options are 16)

As Gramphos said, we already have a thread where we choose what posts should be included.

Should we repoll the game setup if random loses?

Oh, and BTW, if you score >75% of the voters in the Minister Posts poll we might have to take you poll in account, as people might have changed their mind.

Oh, and maybe should say that <50% wants the environmantal minister.

If there should be any more polls on this it should be that we find out that more ministers might be nmeeded.

Also, as I've said before: Their is a reason why we shall have a PW minister, namely that improvements shall be done outsize city areas as well, and might actually be made on the front in wars.

Oh, and also it will still be the City Planner who asks the PW minister for improvements, and the PW minister then assigns workers to those projects, and maybe also draws up the final project orders, however the Cityplanner can request with specific orders as well. Cooperation between the ministers is very important.

If it is clear from polls that >50% support an option or options, then that(those) option(s) have majority support and must be taken as writ!

We don't want to start the game by ignoring Democratic results!

Back to the ROOTS of addiction. My first missed poll!

Public works and environment DEFINATELY are redundant and should be combined, and to a lesser extent those two and city planner. I think it should be City Planner and Imperial Expansion.

If they get over 50% but are suggested to be combined in here.

(Note that the Environmental minister won't get >50% support)

I suggest that we run without then until whe have >= 5 workers. Then we test a PW minister for two terms and evaluates the result.

I think public works minister and city manager are the two positions to be in.
the only work for imperial expansion minister is finding the position for new citys ? that should be done by the president, adviced by military adv and city planner.

the reason i put this up separately was because i didn't know which of the 4 to vote for/against - i thought only one (or 2) of them was necessary to meet all the functions required

from the response, I think we should cluster Imp Exp and City Planner into one.
Environment minister doesn't matter til late late game (if at all) so forget it for now. it could go under PW anyways.
