  • A Better Poll: When to Have Elections

The Poll is closed, thanks to all those who've voted.

So, when should we have the elections? I think having them on Wednesday is sufficient.

ASAP, which means tonight, not later than Tuesday!
This space is empty... or is it?

Well, I doubt Monday is going to win, so we'll rule that out. If Tuesday still has the most votes at around 2300 GMT or so tomorrow, then the eletctions will begin.

I voted tuesday, keep them open for 48 hours to give everybody who is reasonably active on this forum enough time to vote.

Wednesday : the Democracy game is still young, and we shouldn't rush things too much

Once the decision is made, I plan to have the elections open for 3 days, to provide a fairly long amount of time (more than 1 or 2 days ) for people to vote. If no one has objections, I will set up each election thread based upon what has already been determined in Gramphos' Minister Posts, which is every option that has at least 50% of the vote (which looks like everything but Envirionmental Minister at this point).

At 1700 GMT tomorrow (Tuesday) I'll take the results. Therefore, if you know anyone who has yet to vote, tell them to get their votes in. Those who want Wednesday, get your cronies!

                        Okay... STOP!

The results are in. After 33 votes, 11 have voted for Tuesday, and 10 have voted for Wednesday.

I will create the actual election threads in about 5 hours, so everyone get ready.

                          Okay whoever is still voting...

Anyways, sorry for not setting a time limit, I didn't see the option a bit ago when I made this poll. But like I said in my last post, I took the results at 1700 GMT as I said I would, so the results I noted then are final.
