"I've lived too long with pain. I won't know who I am without it. We have to leave this place, I am almost happy here."
- Ender, from Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Good point, ixnay. We would need to actually do something for a diplo victory - it doesn't just creep up on us whilst we ar playing (unlike Cultural victory) - I think diplo enabled might give us a good way of winning if we badly need it.
To actually go for it though we'd need the ppl to vote yes to it. Here the ppl are only voting for the OPTION to vote yes...
Looks like we are going to play with the default rules. Every option has more than 50% votes. Actually, that is fine with me. We can keep all options open then.
I voted on:
*Space race victory
*Diplomatic victory
*Conquest victory
*Cultural victory
*Allow Civ-specific abilities
*I've read the first post
I don't like the domination victory, I mean, if you want to controll the world, do it properly! And I want the starting positions to be fully random, and not culturally linked.
That's my 2 cents.
Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made - Psalms 139.14a

Voted Conquest, Space Race, Civ-specific abilities, Culturally Linked start, and Preserve Random Seed.
"Corporation, n, An ingenious device for obtaining individual profit without individual responsibility." -- Ambrose Bierce
"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both." -- Benjamin Franklin
"Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path of destruction." -- Thomas Jefferson
Just a question to people: Why preserve random seed?
We're not going to be cheating in this game, and if the game crashes, the person playing it will already know what has happened, so he can either do the same thing (if it was good), or do something different, and count on the same result every time. If we don't preserve the random seed, then it's random, and fair, as it should be.
