    No, it's beyond my powers. However, I think Ming has been pretty hard against DLs recently, so I doubt that he would miss any (okay, maybe one or two could slip past him...).

      What's a DL; I'm not one am I? I hope not since they don't sound very good.
      Est-ce que tu as vu une baleine avec un queue taché?
      If you don't feel the slightist bit joyful seeing the Iraqis dancing in the street, then you are lost to the radical left. If you don't feel the slightest bit bad that we had to use force to do this, then you are lost to the radical right.

        DL = Double Login

        It's against the rules of this site to have more then one handle.

              No, I did NOT join just to play
              I'm going to rub some stakes on my face and pour beer on my chest while I listen Guns'nRoses welcome to the jungle and watch porno. Lesbian porno.

                I would really like to join, but I know very little of the 'democracy game'.
                "The first man who, having fenced off a plot of land, thought of saying, 'This is mine' and found people simple enough to believe him was the real founder of civil society. How many crimes, wars, murders, how many miseries and horrors might the human race had been spared by the one who, upon pulling up the stakes or filling in the ditch, had shouted to his fellow men: 'Beware of listening to this imposter; you are lost if you forget the fruits of the earth belong to all and that the earth belongs to no one." - Jean-Jacques Rousseau

                  Welcome everyone! Glad you've all decided to join us!

                  As far as learning about this thing, read up a bit in various threads. Especially the 'Topped' ones, they're quite helpful.

                  Basically, a Democracy Game (Demo Game) is where many people give their input through threads and polls on how one specific game is to be played. There are various 'Minister' posts that people can be elected to, and they have more influence than the regular citizen. The elected President (myself at the moment ) is the one who actually plays the game and makes all of the final decisions. That's basically how this thing is run... there are numerous polls since the game is just starting to form, so feel free to read up and vote.

                    It's organised insanity. Like any democracy.

                    • I've voted in most of the polls, so I suppose you can count me in as a citizen...

                            • Yes, there will be no limit. However, if we, when we get multiplayer, wants to play a game against the civfanatics theme we would need a private forum (and no double-players).
