Thanks to all for your contributions to TurnChat / Senate Session 17. The minutes are now listed and will be presented as the previous Session's minutes when the Senate reconvenes.

For those that could not make it, feel free to leave any feedback that you feel could assist in the upcoming session of the Senate.

As a member of the Democracy Civ Group, you are already a Senator. You just need to show up for the Session.

The times for this will be advertised on this thread in the coming days.

Once at the session you can load the Sacred Save and participate as the session works its way through the agenda.

So maybe it is time to get out of the Pub for a hour or two; leave those maids for some deserved rest; let your managers look after your wood shops; gather your Axe and Shield and come along and be apart of the Senate Session.

Jonny: Gems Ahoy to move 3 3 2 in order to pick up settler from Ring of Vikings and take him south?
Paddy: BF had a plan to put that settler in next to the persian city of sidon as a jump point to war...?
Jonny: hmm, well if that's the plan, then OK... I didn't know how soon we were looking to go to war with Persia
Paddy: wheere would you like him to go on the south island?
Jonny: sorry, had a phone call
Paddy: hahahaha yeah I know the feeling
Jonny: I don't know where exactly, either south of Avaris or south of Jaen; I just think it's important to grab all the land that we can
Paddy: yes, I agree... we are quite some way behind..
Paddy: what about the island way to our left?
Paddy: the one Thors Sickle is next to at this time?
Jonny: it's a possibility, but I think the Persians are already on their way there...

Then the decisions were made / discussed / argued on the Cities
Jonny: hmm... New Asgard could have happiness problems soon
Paddy: suggestions...
Jonny: we could switch it to settler
Paddy: still take a while to build
Jonny: 3 turns...
Paddy: we could take the work force from 1-4 and make him a scientist
Jonny: we could, but that would drop the city below the magic 10 shield number for this turn
Paddy: ok, well the pop goes next turn, and then they will be over populated and will riot?

Jonny: i guess we better make the WF 1-4 a scientist, otherwise we'll lose a whole turn instead of just one shield

Jonny: well I think we need to upgrade pretty soon and attack someone, the more we wait the more likely they are to have pikeman garrisons and knights
Paddy: well we are only 15th in one thing, 14th in most, so we really can not go to far backwards in the race to be THE RACE!
