Some fools we shall look if the very first 2 point plebby barbarian sacks our Viking towns!!!

Forget Scouts, swap to Warriors NOW!!!!! If we swap to a Warrior now and send the first one south to guard our new settler and the second one to guard New Asgard we will be ok. We cannot let those barbarian scum ransack our towns.

I hear some say 'we dont have much money they can take so it doesnt matter'. What about our Viking Women ????

!!!!! Never!!!!! We need warriors and we need them now, even if civilians must be worked to death!

its better to pay a small price now then later , but loosing a citymember just aint right , its way better to use up our small treasure now on research or buying of a tech then to let the berbs have it , ...... they can have whats left , ...... and its way better to loose one or two gold to the berbs then to loose a settler of whip some of our own people to death , ..........

Update for you:

Lost one scout as expected, we now have warriors in both cities.An archer is due in New Asgard in 4 turns & warrior next turn in Valhalla. Too early for another settler from NA yet?

We should build a settler in NA as it grows from 3-4, leaving it at a size 2. What about a Granery?

nope , if we would have played it correctly not , ..... we would have lost a couple gold , the barb would not be there and before an other barb where to reach the second city a warrior would have been there , .....

anyway , since the city is not there and a whole other set of moves have been played its not really an issue anymore , .....

About time we sent an archer out to find their barb village and burn it to the ground!!!

I think that with the archer we had enough troops for protect & explore. It's time for settlers & workers. What about an early granary?

the people are getting unhappy very fast. I guess the granary should be delayed until we have colisseums and cathedrals. In other case the population will grow fast and we will have many idle citizens.

Well, we should have 2 Warriors to keep order before building a Granery there, but that's about it. Perhaps a Temple if the food/shield ratio requires it.

When the pop grows we make a settler. This is the key to rapid expansion - churn out settlers from quickly growing cities.

soon we shall have some gems linked up , well before we can build cath's or coll's , ......

we need loads of settlers and workers , and the only way to achieve this is by getting a granery , ......
