  • FAM Report: 775 BC

We now have contact with all 23 civs out there!

Techs we know: Bronze Working, Masonry, Alphabet, Pottery, The Wheel, Warrior Code, Ceremonial Burial, Horseback Riding, Iron Working, Mysticism, Writing, Mathematics, Polytheism, Map Making, Philosophy, Code of Laws, Literature

Other techs that we know someone's discovered: Construction (Egypt, Germany, Aztecs, Carthage, Russia, China, America)

    Our treasury: 1326 gold

Civs with workers available this turn: None

Civs that need Mathematics: Arabia, Mongols
    Civs that need Philosophy: Mongols
Civs that need Code of Laws: France, Arabia
Civs that need Literature: France, Arabia, Mongols
Civs that need Map Making: Arabia
Civs that need Polytheism: France, Arabia, Mongols
Civs that need Construction: Us, Ottomans, Zulus, Iroquois, Persia, Babylon, Celts, Japan, Spain, Korea, India, England, Greece, France, Rome, Arabia, Mongols

We're rich! And we have contact with the other continent, and all 23 civs. (I don't think I envy you, MWIA. ) We've fallen behind in tech again, but only by one for now (Construction). However, once Currency is discovered and both are passed around to the Scientific civs, we'll find ourselves up to 5 techs behind (if all three initial medieval techs are discovered before we buy Currency and/or Construction). On the bright side, Monarchy still hasn't been discovered, so we have a chance at being able to whore it around very effectively when it's discovered in 19 turns.

Thanks to the deputies, especially CiverDan for doing a great FAM job at the last chat while I overed. (Hmm... there must be a joke somewhere in an oversleeping FAM, but I can't think of it.) Now, let's see what MWIA can do; I've heard he's very good at shearing other civ's wealth.

    All 23, ah hell...

Guess why I didn't want 24 civs in this game?

I feel for the FAM with 23 civs to deal with, so I'll go for 16. This is plenty enough for a huge map.

Shooting myself in the foot... never mind, I'm sure I can keep my sanity for one term as FAM.

Back to the ROOTS of addiction. My first missed poll!
