With regard to food I think irrigating instead of mining the cow near Reykyjavic would be a good idea. Once the granary is built we can probably turn it into a 3 turn worker or 6 turn settler pump.

OPD do you think we should start irrigating now? Because thats what I was thinking.

I dunno it's your job to work it out from looking at the save it's going to be a while before the city can grow past a 3 as we have no lux and we can't get the sheilds required to match the growth while only a 3, so perhaps a 4 turns worker pump would be a better idea for the moment then maybe irrigating the cow once we can support size 4/5 cities.
Probably should have looked at the save before bringing this up.

IIRC, until we get out of this accursed Despotism, Irrigating the cow, since it is on grassland, will not gain anything.
