It would be cool to have the Huns in the game... And what about Thailand? I know that for much of their history, it was known as Siam, but the Thai managed to keep their culture even under English occupation and such. That's about it for Asia.
The Incas would be cool. Playing as a Native AMerican tribe other than the Iroquois would also be cool. And what about Portugal, the nation that colonized Brazil?
Poland would be pretty cool...

anyhow, my question is and always will be, why didn't the Ottomans send ships to explore the new world?

I don't know, but i know that Turkish pirates reached as far as Iceland.

After reading this thread better (sorry for my stupid previous reply), can anyone say me if the turkish countries (the "-stan" ones) recognize themselves as one entity with all the other groups?

They have, and modern-day Turkey tries to influence its
eastern brothers.
